Come hear the living history of America’s Black Warriors bought to life by the veterans themselves and dedicated reenactors.   • Oh Freedom NJ DEP exhibit focusing on New Jersey’s Black Colonial and Loyalist soldiers in the Revolution
  • Black Marines in The War of 1812Presented by Certified Historical Interpreter – Byron Childress
  • The 6th Regiment United States Colored Troops Reenactors Inc. Recreate the lives of Black Soldiers in the Civil War with 1st Sergeant Frederic L. Minus 
  • Trenton’s Mitchell Davis in The Great War Display and lecture sponsored by the Mitchell Davis VFW Post of Trenton NJ
  • The 5th Platoon WWII  Reenactors Featuring the collections of Art Collins Platoon leader
  • Tuskeegee Airmen DisplayPhotos and literature regarding Trenton’s Tuskeegee airman – Dr. Leslie Hayling

New York Historical Society Appearance

Today, the 6th USCT appeared at the NHYS for Living History Day. Living History Days is running through March during the Grant and Lee in War and Peace Exhibit. Various reenactment units participate in this event bringing their displays and interact with visitors to the exhibit. Cadets were posted at the entrance to greet visitors. The musicians played selections to attract passer-bys.
