Crossing Fund-Raising Efforts

Fund-Raising Efforts – We Need Your Help
Support for the annual Crossing (as well as other educational programs at the Park) is a major undertaking of the Friends Group. This year the Friends are conducting an exciting Cross with George Raffle to raise money to support the Crossing.
In addition to the two crossings, six other valuable prizes will be awarded. They include:
1. A numbered and framed limited edition lithograph of the Inn at Philips Mill by James Redding;
2. Dinner for eight at the Continental Tavern with General Washington and Glover's Marbleheaders – the sailors who rowed on Christmas;
3. A Crossing Vineyards and Winery party for 10;
4. An overnight stay at the Inn at Bowman's Hill with dinner at Plan B Bistro;
5. A meeting with Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick in Washington and a tour of the U.S. Capitol for four;
6. Four, one-day tickets to Sesame Place.

Tickets are available at the following locations:
· Continental Tavern in Yardley.
· Crossing Vineyards in Upper Makefield.
· Bucks County Visitors' Centers in Bensalem, New Hope and Peddler's Village.
· the temporary Park Visitor's Center at the corner of Rts. 32 and 532.
· Tickets will be sold at the Rehearsal and on Christmas.

1. Cross with George Raffle: Two rides in a Durham boat will be awarded:
1. The Dress Rehearsal on Dec. 11th, and,
2. The Dec. 25th Crossing.
Winners will be provided colonial garb and accompany General Washington as his Aide-de-Camp throughout the ceremony and Crossing. The prize is transferable. In addition to the two Crossings, six other valuable prizes will be awarded. Raffle tickets are $10 a piece or six for $50.
